Q) How long does it take to make a CEREC Restoration?

• Typically, a CEREC restoration can be designed and milled in a relatively short amount of time—however, we aim to deliver a high quality product so the entire procedure is usually completed within one to two hours— this means only one visit for your patient!

Q) Do you image in the patient’s mouth?

• Due to liability and efficiency constraints, Crown King only images a stone cast of the patient’s mouth and does not enter the operatory unless requested by the doctor. This allows for perfect adjustment on a solid cast and minimizes in-mouth adjustments.

Q) What are the advantages of all ceramic restorations?

• CEREC Restorations are digitally designed and milled utilizing CAD/CAM technology which yields the very highest quality fit and function available.
• The ceramic material is bio-compatible resulting in far less sensitivity than a regular PFM (porcelain fused to metal) restoration.
